Larry E. Nunn and Associates offers internships during the spring and
summer to qualified college students who are majoring in accounting or
finance. The program is designed to introduce college students to public
accounting and our firm. As an intern, the student will be treated as a
staff accountant and be a full member of the staff. Interns are exposed
to many areas of our services – tax, bookkeeping, compilations,
reviews, and audits. Interns are also able to participate in firm
meetings and be active in giving his or her opinions about the services
of the firm. And of course, the intern is compensated for his or her
time. To date, our internship program has been a great success. If you
are interested in an internship opportunity, please come and see us when
we visit your campus or send us your resume.
Please read what past
interns have said about our program:

"My internship at Larry E.
Nunn & Associates provided me with the real world experience that
the classroom can't provide. I was exposed to various accounting
services such as tax, auditing, and payroll taxes. The experience
was enjoyable because the staff made me feel comfortable and helped me
while I learned. I would recommend an internship with Larry E.
Nunn & Associates to anyone looking to gain experience in an
exciting and challenging work environment."

My internship at Larry E. Nunn
& Associates was a wonderful experience to gain insight into my
future career in public accounting. I was actively involved in the
typical day-to-day work of a public accountant. During my internship I
was able to work on personal tax returns, payroll taxes, and
bookkeeping. I also participated in a not-for-profit audit, learned how
to use various accounting software, and participated in firm meetings.
At Larry E. Nunn & Associates, I was surrounded by many CPAs who
truly cared about helping me make the most of my internship and my
progress towards achieving my goals. The knowledge I gained will help me
understand the materials in my courses to come and better prepare me for
my future career in accounting.

Summer 2006
